A message from the chairman

Welcome to TLC’s home on the web!

I hope you find our web site inviting and informative. It is designed to answer questions about who we are, why we exist, what, how and where we do our jobs. It is also designed to answer questions about the disease of alcoholism either with information contained on the site or by links to numerous other sites we believe might be helpful to you.

If your visit to our site is to seek information about alcoholism because of a suspected problem either with yourself or with someone you know, you are in a good place. For many of us in recovery, those first steps were the most difficult. Please know that nobody at TLC will judge you. Everybody on our staff is in recovery. We’ve all been where you are today.

Please take your time browsing our site. We are blessed to offer 4 separate facilities, the operations of which are described in some detail on the pull-down tabs. While we know that our program of recovery works, we also know that it may not be for everybody. We are but a part of the vast network of care available to people in recovery. In fact, we work collaboratively with others in the field. My suggestion to you is to not try to figure out exactly which program or type of program might be best for you. Call us directly so that our professional staff can assist you in answering your questions and in selecting an appropriate program. Naturally, we don’t charge for this service. Carrying the message to other alcoholics is a big part of our own personal recoveries.

Please give us the opportunity to help. There is a way of life available to you that you may not even be able to imagine. That has definitely been true for me in my own personal journey. We offer experience, strength, and hope. Your action by calling us is the first step in your or someone you love’s personal recovery journey. You will be treated with dignity and respect. The most important thing for you to do is to contact us. Please call or e-mail us now.

God bless,

Kevin Kirby

Chairman
